Dori in Sanskrit means silken ropes that brings things together and traditionally jewellery was tied together with a dori to create various designs.Dori as a brand also brings together traditional techniques to a modern contemporary style, which works well for today’s woman. The handmade jewellery available on Dori is made from authentic semi-precious & natural stones, and are inspired by Bhavya’s travels all around the world and recreate the looks Bhavya saw her mom adorn all through her childhood.Dori designs use natural and semi-precious stones including pearls, turquoise, amethyst and coral amongst others and are sourced mindfully from India, Sri Lanka and Madagascar. Worked on by skilful artisans in Jaipur, India, these versatile designs bring Bhavya’s passion to life to create beautiful pieces.
