Stars of Science Season 18 Opens Applications for the Arab World’s Next Generation of Innovators

The search is on for the Arab world’s next breakthrough entrepreneur, inventor, or technology pioneer as Stars of Science, one of the region’s most recognized innovation and entrepreneurship platforms, officially opens applications for its 18th season.

Produced by Qatar Foundation, the program has spent nearly two decades discovering and supporting talented innovators from across the Arab world. Now entering its biggest transformation yet, Season 18 aims to identify individuals with promising ideas and provide them with the resources needed to turn those ideas into successful businesses.

Applications are open to young innovators aged 18 to 35 from across the Arab world and the global Arab diaspora. Participants are invited to submit a short video introducing themselves, their ideas, and the impact they believe their innovation can make.

The program is searching for more than just inventors. It is looking for entrepreneurs, coders, engineers, creators, and ambitious individuals who have the potential to develop solutions that address real-world challenges. Organizers believe that groundbreaking ideas can emerge from universities, startups, home workshops, or even side projects developed outside regular working hours.

As artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and emerging technologies continue to reshape industries worldwide, Stars of Science is positioning itself as a platform that empowers Arab innovators to compete on a global stage. The initiative seeks to uncover talent from diverse backgrounds and provide opportunities that are often difficult for first-time founders to access.

One of the most attractive aspects of the competition is the support offered to successful participants. The winner will be fast-tracked into the prestigious Founders Program at Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP), a fully supported 12-month venture-building experience designed to transform innovative concepts into scalable businesses.

The opportunity includes access to seed funding, mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs and industry leaders, office facilities, strategic guidance, and communications support. Participants will also benefit from exposure to a network of investors, innovators, and business experts who can help accelerate the growth of their ventures.

According to the organizers, the program is focused not only on great ideas but also on the people behind them. The search extends to self-taught innovators, first-time founders, and individuals whose determination and creativity could inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs across the region.

Season 18 is also being led by internationally acclaimed Executive Producer Andrea Hamilton, whose portfolio includes globally successful television formats such as The Voice and So You Think You Can Dance. The new season aims to place greater emphasis on storytelling, personality, and entrepreneurship while continuing to celebrate innovation and technological excellence.

Applications for Stars of Science Season 18 are now open. Eligible candidates can submit their application and introductory video through the official Stars of Science website
