Georgina Rodríguez Dazzles in Chopard Diamonds on Her Wedding Day

Georgina Rodríguez and Cristiano Ronaldo celebrated their wedding, marking a new chapter in one of the world’s most closely followed love stories. For the intimate occasion, Rodríguez paired her understated bridal look with an extraordinary selection of Chopard High Jewellery, creating a striking contrast between minimalist fashion and exceptional diamonds.

The couple chose to marry in a private civil ceremony at their home in Cascais, Portugal, exactly ten years after they first met in Madrid. Rather than staging the large-scale celebrity wedding many might have expected, Rodríguez and Ronaldo surrounded themselves with their children and kept the celebration deeply personal.

A Bridal Look Defined by Diamonds

Rodríguez moved away from the traditional bridal gown, choosing an elegant white silk ensemble by Gucci. The choice carried particular meaning: she was working at a Gucci boutique in Madrid when she first met Ronaldo in 2016. Ronaldo complemented her look in a custom beige Gucci suit.

But it was Rodríguez’s jewellery that transformed the minimalist bridal aesthetic into a spectacular high-jewellery moment.

At the heart of her look was Chopard’s celebrated Garden of Kalahari creation, featuring exceptional diamonds originating from the Queen of Kalahari, a 342-carat rough diamond discovered in Botswana. The remarkable stone was transformed by Chopard into a collection of important diamonds and elaborate High Jewellery creations.

For her wedding, Rodríguez wore a magnificent diamond necklace centred around an approximately 50-carat flawless diamond, complemented by impressive pear- and heart-shaped diamonds worn as earrings. Reports put the total diamond weight of her wedding jewellery at around 250 carats, making the ensemble one of the most remarkable celebrity bridal jewellery displays in recent years.

Her look was completed with further diamond pieces, including bracelets and statement rings, adding brilliance while maintaining the sophisticated character of her white bridal ensemble.

Chopard and Georgina Rodríguez

The wedding appearance also continued Rodríguez’s established relationship with Chopard. The model and entrepreneur has repeatedly chosen the Swiss Maison’s jewellery for major international occasions, including appearances on the Cannes red carpet.

Yet her wedding offered an entirely different setting. Instead of a film premiere or glamorous gala, some of Chopard’s most exceptional diamonds became part of an intensely personal family celebration.

Following the civil ceremony, Rodríguez and Ronaldo travelled to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima, where they received a private religious blessing. The moment added a spiritual dimension to a day that deliberately prioritised family and personal meaning over spectacle.

A New Chapter

Rodríguez and Ronaldo’s relationship has unfolded in the public eye for a decade, spanning international moves, Ronaldo’s football career and the growth of their family. Their decision to marry privately therefore felt particularly significant.

The wedding ultimately brought together several elements of Rodríguez’s public style: polished simplicity, fashion, family and extraordinary jewellery. Against the clean lines of her white bridal look, Chopard’s diamonds became the defining luxury statement.

For a woman accustomed to spectacular red-carpet jewellery, her wedding day offered something more personal: exceptional stones chosen not simply for a public appearance, but to mark one of the most meaningful moments of her life.
