A regular participant, Mr. Vasilev has been purchasing tickets online for several years in the hope of striking it lucky. The 49-year-old was overwhelmed when he received the life-changing news via a phone call from Dubai Duty Free.

“I am simply shocked. Of course, I was hoping, but to actually hear the news is truly thrilling. I can’t wait to fly to Dubai now,” he said.
