As the 2022 World Cup in Qatar united the world to the Middle East, nearly 2000 global business executives and investors attended the World Corporate Summit in Dubai to share in the vision of improving the world through business.

Held in Dubai from 21 November until 15 December 2022 at the Palace Downtown Hotel, this record-breaking mega summit, supported by Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, presented a unique opportunity for business leaders to exchanging ideas and building partnerships that will impact the world economy.

The summit aimed to build an ecosystem encouraging and inciting foreign direct investment while supporting human connection and learning, redefining the future economy’s framework across business, finance, sports, education, health, media, technology, and industry sectors, with over 100 roundtables, 20 networking sessions and four gala dinners.

From deliberating on a future-proof workforce with the skills needed for economic and social growth to addressing climate change to focusing on agritech to solve the global food crisis and exploring future technologies from artificial intelligence to Web3, the summit took a 360-degree view at ways to improve the world economy. 

The World Corporate Summit and the Ministry of Economy of the UAE’s Investopia platform conducted a special session: “The Future of Investment in Sports”, attended by 200 global leaders in sports and finance, such as Javier Tebas, President of La Liga and 40 La Liga football clubs, Paolo Scaroni, Chairman of AC Milan, major financiers from Mubadala to Fosun and Barclays Bank, and His Excellency Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Chairman of Investopia.
