Around the Block, the neighbourhood favourite known for its specialty coffee and loyal brunch following, is celebrating two flavourful years in Al Khawaneej with the launch of a brand-new all-day menu.
The menu gets a bold refresh with standout new additions like the rich Truffled Eggs, flaky Egg Benedict Croissant, and the iconic Block Bun layered with eggs, bacon, and cheddar. Other highlights include the Pressed Shakshuka Croissant, Turkish Eggs with sujuk and chili oil, and the beautifully plated Simit Nest with feta yogurt, vegetables, and pomegranate, made for morning cravings and perfect Instagram moments alike.
Healthier options shine too, with vibrant Tropical Yogurt Bowl, Acai Bowl topped with banana and strawberries, and Avo Toast layered with cottage cheese and tomatoes. Flatbreads take a creative twist, including Cheesy Zaatarand Chorizo with jalapeño cream, alongside sweet comforts like Hot Ricotta Pancakes, PB&J Brioche Toast, Balaleetwith fried eggs, and the nostalgic Kiri & Honey. And for those with a sweet tooth, the ATB French Toast, slathered in chocolate butter and maple – is a must.
From 1 PM onward, the menu shifts into a satisfying lunch selection full of flavour, texture, and creativity. Hero dishes include the indulgent Lobster Linguine in a velvety pink sauce with cherry tomatoes, and the Grilled Salmon Teriyaki Bowl, balanced with rice, crisp vegetables, and a spicy mayo kick. The Steak Sandwich, and Chicken Katsu Sandodeliver hearty richness, while colourful plates like the Chops Salad, ATB Kale Salad, Goma Truffle Salad, and Rock Shrimp with sriracha-honey glaze offer punchy, playful alternatives.
