No matter what your method is, make sure it’s working for you and that your lashes look great after each application.

If you’re new to applying eye makeup, here are some tips to help you get started.
1. Keep it simple! The key to a good eye makeup look is all in the lashes. Don’t overdo it with shadow and liner—you can always add more later.
2. Use an eyelash curler before applying mascara—it’ll make your lashes appear longer and fuller than they actually are without any extra effort on your part!
3. Don’t use too much mascara: You want just enough product on your brush to coat each lash evenly in one swipe from root to tip, no more! If you’re using a mascara wand with bristles at either end (like most drugstore brands), make sure that the bristles closest to your eye are facing away from it so they don’t end up poking into your skin as you apply the product from root to tip.
4. Apply eyeliner last: This will help prevent smudging later on down the line!
