Prepare to be wowed and taken on a journey of the world’s weirdest and wackiest oddities as Global Village, the world’s leading multicultural festival park and the region’s first family destination for culture, shopping, and entertainment, celebrates the opening of the region’s first-ever Ripley’s Believe It or Not!®.

Delivering a world of different, the alluring Ripley’s Believe It or Not!® Odditorium is an exciting and brand new addition to Global Village in Season 24. The showcase’s arrival also builds on the festival park’s renown for bringing the world’s most exciting and entertaining attractions to Dubai and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The famed Ripley’s Believe It or Not!® museum attraction is an entertaining and educational experience that is perfect for guests of all ages. At Ripley’s Believe It or Not!® Global Village guests will discover astonishing oddities, such as the world’s only fully wooden-built Ferrari that you can drive on water, the smallest assembly-line manufactured road-legal car ever made, a behemoth Megalodon shark jaw, and a large iron Gibeon meteorite from thousands of years ago, among other unbelievable artefacts and showcases.

During the event Bader Anwahi and Jim Pattison Jr. unveiled the latest addition to the Ripley’s museum attraction. Guests will now be able to see the first ever Khandora in space, worn by the UAE astronaut, Hazzaa Almansoori, as well as his space patches and food. Ripley’s Believe It or Not!®, Global Village will be displaying this extraordinary exhibit, in collaboration with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre, for the remainder of the season.

Ripley’s Believe It or Not!® has six unique galleries, showcasing a diverse collection of rare exhibits and hands-on interactive experiences.

The museum’s gallery journey begins with “Robert Ripley & The World’s Cultures” gallery, which displays an array of personal artefacts collected from all over the world by Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Founder, Robert Ripley. Guests will be able to experience the “Amazing Humans” gallery, which displays replicas of the world’s most incredible human beings, followed by “A Walk Through sThe Ripley Warehouse” which displays strange and unusual oddities. The “Middle America Meets The Middle East” gallery displays major collections from Robert Ripley’s visits to the Middle East, while the “Interactive and Fun” gallery offers guests an extensive collection of games and brain teasers for kids and adults alike. The Ripley’s Believe It or Not!® Journey concludes with “Space and Astronomy” which displays attractions and unique collections from outer space including the new exhibit from the UAE’s very own expedition.
