Insects are a source of fascination for the Maison, thanks to an anatomy that concentrates a multitude of details into a miniature space. Among them, Cartier highlights the cicada and transcribes its delicacy in the form of a diamond, rock crystal, ruby and onyx necklace.
This complex work was born from the meeting of multiple specialised professions: designers, stone experts, lapidaries, jewellers, setters and polishers, and required nearly 1800 hours of work.
