In turbulent times, nature provides peace and energy – it grounds people. The new AIGNER
Spring/Summer 2021 “Mother Nature“ collection embodies this longing for closeness to
nature and one‘s own roots. The colour Green becomes a representative of this feeling and
conveys strength, joy and optimism. The shades range from delicate Moss Green to strong
Matcha Green. They are accompanied by earthy brown tones such as Terra Brown or Walnut
Brown. Honest natural materials such as leather, jute and straw dominate the selection of
materials of the collection and focus on sustainability and the conscious use of precious
resources. Again in this collection, AIGNER remains true to its roots and combines selected
vintage pieces with modern shapes and colours. The new “Mother Nature“ collection is thus a
consequent continuation of the last season. The Spring/Summer 2021 campaign reflects the return to the heritage of AIGNER and the idea
of nature.
Outfits in light fabrics such as silk, cotton and linen – mostly AIGNER vintage secondhand pieces – accompany the current bag collection.
The CYBILL Fiorellina signature bag with a playful meadow flower print is presented with the unisex AIGNER sweater in cream, which
will also be available as a set with jogging pants in various colours. The entire athleisure wear
collection is made of organic cotton and was produced in Portugal. The simple appearance
of the SELMA Bag in Cashmere Beige is highlighted by the clean look of the model and
background. The ALEXIS Bag, which is inspired by a shaving case from the AIGNER archives,
becomes a trendy piece with its fresh colours and in combination with an all-over sweat look.
A summery shadow play of leaves and flowers, a fresh summer breeze and warm light set the
scene for campaign face Kim Riekenberg and the current season. The bags, garments and
accessories of the collection are showcased in front of a clean background of Green and
Brown cotton cloths. Unexcitedly and natural, the products always stay in the foreground. The
shooting was again realised by the renowned fashion photographer Andreas Ortner
